The Pemberton Aerosports team leaves smoketrails in the sky at Arctic Thunder 2014.

Alaska. White smoke trails made by the Pemberton Aerosports team form curving patterns against a dark blue sky during the Arctic Thunder airshow and open house at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in July. Rex Pemberton is skydiving using a wingsuit while Melissa Pemberton barrel rolls around him in her Edge 540 aerobatic airplane. Arctic Thunder is a bi-annual base open house event showcasing military personnel, equipment, and aircraft carrying out the JBER missions in Alaska. In addition, the 2014 Arctic Thunder commemorated the Anchorage Centennial Celebration.
