Historic Kenai Landing, previously the Libby, McNeil and Libby Cannery in the 1920's, sold to Columbia Wards Fisheries in 1960's which became the Wards Cove Packing Company in 1983 and operated it there until1999. Kenai Landing remains one of the best preserved longterm canneries in the U.S., and now provides a site for lodging, RV sites, boat launching, river waterfront viewing and historical tours.
