Alaska. Soil erosion at the edge of Eklutna Flats in June where the Knik River flows into the Knik Arm of Cook Inlet. Tides of great magnitude constantly work against the land edges in this area where much of the soil is made of of glacial silt washed down from the Knik Glacier many miles upriver. Whole sections of bank topple into the water as they are undercut by the strong flow of water, in this case taking a tree with it.
