Alaska. A photographer sets up along the edge of Turnagain Arm near Bird Point to photograph a bore tide in June while a pair of spectators sit on a rlarge rock awaiting the event. Bore tides occur quite often in Turnagain Arm after an extreme minus low tide, pushing a wave that can be several feet high at narrow constricted locations. A blue sky with a few white clouds for a backdrop for the snow-covered mountains along both sides of the arm.
