Alaska. A single adult Bohemian Waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus) clinging to a slender Mountain Ash branch (Sorbus sp.) upside down next to a cluster of bright red berries while feeding in Anchorage in February. Usually seen in large flocks of as many as several hundred birds, they swoop from one food source to another, often chattering vociferously while feeding.
