Alaska. A single adult Bohemian Waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus) feeding on bright red Mountain Ash berries (Sorbus sp.) in Anchorage in January. Usually seen in large flocks of as many as several hundred birds, they swoop from one food source to another, often chattering vociferously while feeding.
