  • Alaska fall colors may not have red leaves to mix with the orange yellow and green, but in the fall, the most magnificent scenics are intensified into beautiful sights. The low shrubs, berry bushes, and grasses turn golden with the birch and aspen leaves. The dark green spruce trees accent the gold. Fireweed turns fuchsia and together they will rival the leaf-peeping possibilities of the eastern states.
